How to Apply for Erasmus+ VET Funding

Two funding routes, one annual deadline, and a partner in Lisbon who has done it many times. Here's your path from idea to funded mobility — based on the official Programme Guide 2026.

Two Routes

Short-Term Project or Accreditation?

VET schools and organisations apply to the National Agency of their own country. Choose the route that matches your ambitions.

ParticipantsMax. 30 in mobility activities (preparatory visits and accompanying persons don't count)
LimitMax. 3 grants within any 5 consecutive call years
ApplicationsOne per selection round
Deadline19 February, 12:00 Brussels time (Round 2, if opened: 1 October)
Start datesRound 1: 1 June–31 Dec same year · Round 2: 1 Jan–31 May next year

Erasmus Accreditation Regulars

Stable, recurring funding for organisations that want mobility as a permanent part of their work.

What it isA long-term "membership" based on your Erasmus Plan
ParticipantsNo fixed limit — grant depends on budget allocation
FundingAnnual budget requests; all eligible applications receive funding
ExperienceNot required — new organisations can apply directly
ExtrasAccredited organisations can also send learners to some non-EU countries
NoteAccredited organisations cannot apply for short-term projects

There's a third way to start without applying: join an existing Erasmus+ consortium in your country, or begin by hosting participants from abroad.

Activity Formats

What You Can Fund

  • Short-term learner mobility — 10 to 89 days in a Lisbon company
  • ErasmusPro — long-term placements of 90 to 365 days
  • Group mobility — 2 to 30 days, accompanied learning for groups
  • Staff mobility — job shadowing and training for teachers and trainers
  • Inclusion-friendly — from 2 days for participants with fewer opportunities

All learner formats can include a virtual component, and every participant gets free access to the EU's Online Language Support (OLS).
